Wedding Rental FAQ

Weddings

A bride and groom share an intimate moment while standing along one of the Kimmel Center's balconies.

A traditional Jewish wedding being held at the Kimmel Center's Hamilton Garden.

What is included with the venue?

Typically weddings enjoy use of both a reception space for dinner and dancing, as well as a separate cocktail space.  You can also have your ceremony on site if you would like to host it with us.

Do you have outdoor space?

Yes!  The Lounge at the Kimmel Center has a beautiful outdoor balcony overlooking City Hall and the Avenue of the Arts.  It's a perfect spot to have your picture taken -- your friends will want one, too!

What is included with catering?

Ensemble Arts Philly weddings have a 5-hour catering proposal, which includes chairs, tables, linens, glassware, flatware, butlers, chefs, bartenders and, of course, an open bar!

Do you have exclusive vendors?

We have an exclusive catering partnership with Garces Events. Vendors for decor, music, photography, etc. are at your discretion.  If you prefer to work with a vendor we have not worked with before, we will certainly talk to them about their plans and explain building guidelines and regulations.  Before you book any vendor please contact us so we can review their plans and determine feasibility.

Is there a time we have to be out by?

Typically weddings at Ensemble Arts Philly end around 11:00PM. If you would like to stay later, or go past midnight, it is possible but please check with your sales manager about any fees that may apply.

Do you include a wedding suite?

There is a room just off the space where cocktails are held that we use as a wedding suite.  However, getting ready and changed at your hotel before you arrive at Ensemble Arts Philly is ideal.

Can I take photos before the ceremony or reception?

Yes! You and your guests are free to take pictures at Ensemble Arts Philly, however we don't allow anyone into the theaters.

Would you have more than one wedding taking place at a time?

No, your wedding would be the only one in the building.
