Brilliant colors and shifting moods mesmerize in this electrifying program! GRAMMY Award–winning pianist Mitsuko Uchida brings a “lightness of touch and tonal sparkle” (Bachtrack) to Ravel’s jazzy, joyous Piano Concerto in G major; Yannick reveals the magic and mystery of Debussy’s La Mer. The concert’s centerpiece is an exciting new work—the Orchestra’s fourth commission from acclaimed composer Valerie Coleman.
