Along Broad Street, the Academy's beauitful glass doors welcome guests inside.

Staff set the stage and prepare for another marvelous performance.

It’s an icon, a landmark, a celebration of Philadelphia’s cultural heritage. The Academy was completed in 1857 as an opera house, and today its historic walls welcome opera, ballet, Broadway, and all kinds of contemporary performances. Ideal for large productions with plenty of ancillary space and backstage amenities.
