Cirque mavericks meet the surreal in this stunning explosion of color, beauty and offbeat humor! Inspired by the unbridled imagination of artistic genius, Salvador Dalí, La Verità features a cast of virtuosic performers- juxtaposing circus, dance, music, and vaudeville. Part love story, part lush dreamscape, La Verità unfolds as a colorful, acrobatic, and surreal poem where rhinos juggle, wine corks fall from the sky, and a sensuous feast of physical feats unfold before a replica of the original hand-painted backdrop by Dalí, himself.
Premiered in 2013, La Verità is the latest in a line of stunning, circus-themed projects conceived and choreographed by Cirque du Soliel creative and remarkable director, Daniele Finzi Pasca. Also chosen to create the closing ceremonies for the 2006 Turin and 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, Pasca infuses spectacle, humor, and theatricality in all of his work.
