
Human Resources Professional

Reports to: Director, Human Resources
Status: Exempt
Summary:
Temporary assignment with some potential to develop into a full time position for a Human Resources Professional
Essential Functions:
- Coordinates recruitment and selection process by posting advertisements, reviewing applications, interviewing and conducting reference checks.
- Conducts new hire employment and benefits orientations.
- Oversees all benefit, office services and HR invoices.
- Prepare all department communications including membership renewal and fundraising correspondence, web copy, and ad-hoc requests.
- Coordinates workers compensation claims, leaves of absence, FMLA and other time off reporting.
- Other Human Resources duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- Experience in benefits, recruiting, and employee relations functional areas.
- Minimum of three years Human Resources experience and Bachelors degree required.
- Self-motivated and ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
